Catsy “Pippa” Cline

Pet's Story
Catsy Cline was adopted from NHA in October 2016 when her humans discovered a little ball of gray fluff hiding in the corner, hiding behind her food and water bowls, on the penthouse level of enclosures within the adoption area.
She had huge shoes to fill, as the family had just lost their previous cat of 17 years.
Upon arriving at her forever home, she was promptly renamed “Pippa” by her 2-year-old human sister (who may have been influenced by cartoon pigs) and her personality has proven that to be the perfect choice… though it likely hampered her potential career as a country music cover song vocalist.
Pippa is the sweetest companion — filling perfectly the spot left vacant by the loss of her predecessor, and I can’t imagine a more worthy face to promote the wonderful work that NHA provides to our community!

Pet's Quirks
Pippa’s favorite place on earth is whatever lap happens to be covered by her “meow” blanket. Who knew she could read?!?
She stands regally on the corner of the sofa table, overlooking her automatic feeder… much like Batman over the streets of Gotham… at precisely five minutes before feeding time, twice an day, each and every day!
Pippa has a squirrel friend, Fat Frank, who greets her through the glass door several times per week, as he attempts to rob the bird feeder of its precious seed. Pippa chatters to him that, “it’s never going to work.” Nevertheless, Frank persists.
Pippa has identified the sound of multiple can openers. Hence…

Stuffed lambs are routinely submitted to humans as bribes for petting. It works every time!
And finally… if she (mostly) fits, she sits!
