Pet's Story
Jed is a Catahoula/Staffie mix, adopted from NHA on October 1, 2025. Since then, he’s lived a lot of life! He had heartworm and thanks to his amazing vets and NHA, he kicked heartworm’s butt!
He is now free to run and play and run and play he does! He loves the Shelby Dog Park and seeing all his friends and neighbors. He loves visiting Nashville’s dog friendly stores and coffee shops for a pup cup.
He also loves roadtripping up to visit his grandpawrents in New York. He was named Mikey at the shelter and was renamed Jed after the Grateful Dead song, Tennessee Jed. His full legal name is Tennessee Jed Mikey Gibson, but you can just call him Jed ;)

Pet's Quirks
Jed’s as quirky as they come!
He is a chronic sniffer and likes to inspect every single blade of grass while on a walk and despite being a mix of high energy breeds, he can be such a couch potato some times. Jed loves napping on the couch and curling up in bed. You know he’s gone full cozy mode when you hear him start to snore.
Jed also LOVES tv. He likes the Bob’s Burgers theme song as well as Bluey, they always get him up and wiggling.
Jed loves all the kitty cats in our neighborhood too and he just wants to be their friend but he’s a little big and doesn’t realize his size, so they’re still skeptical…
