Pet's Story
Hi Friends! My name is TuffBuck a.k.a. Tuffy and my family calls me their superhero cause I saved my Mama's life... twice! I am a fun loving rescue doggo from Nashville, TN who always has a huge smile on my face because I love life, people, being silly and finding joy in every moment. I rescued my mom and dad 6 years ago when I was just a baby. Like most superheroes, my origin story is a little fuzzy. Supposedly a bad breeder tried to sell some dutch shepherd/ poodle puppies and when I turned out more scraggly looking than designer dog, they decided it would be better to throw me away on the mean streets. But I sure showed them! My paw-rents say I grew up to be the most handsomest! I might have a couple of scars from my past , but I never lost my spirit and I sure found my purpose!
My Mama has a rare neurological disease called CRPS, and she's spent most of the last 8 years at home fighting to get better. Two times when she needed emergency medical help, I went and found my Daddy and saved her! My compassion and encouragement has helped her get back on her feet so that recently she and Daddy can go to places like Tailgate Brewery and join the Mug Club!! I love being a Mutt Club member now and seeing my Tailgate friends... and eating the BEST pizza crust in the world!! I'm a big foodie and Tailgate makes my favorite crust! 
Even though I'm a silly and sweet boy, they tell me I'm super smart. I know a ton of different tricks and commands. I even know my right from my left! I'm a big kisser and gift giver and I love bringing my dad his slippers when he gets home from work. I never forgot what it felt like to be hungry and I celebrate after I eat a snack or a good meal by getting the zoomies and squiggles on the floor. My favorite hobbies besides eating are riding in the car with my googles on, meeting new friends and loving on old ones, watching sports (especially the UFC... I go bananas!), chasing the water hose, playing ball with Daddy and bubbles. I also love swimming, dancing, using my nose to play hide and go seek and finding a good stick to chew on. I am sweet to other animals and the birds and squirrels me and Mama feed on the back porch aren't even afraid of me!

Pet's Quirks
I love music but especially banjo music. I sing along to yodeling. Cowboy songs are my favorite. If I don't like a song, I'll leave the room.

I always know when my Daddy is on his way home from work and wait for him by the window with his slippers.

I get very excited when the UFC comes on and Bruce Buffer says "It's TIME!"

My parents have to spell a lot of things because I know a lot of words.

I get very happy when my mom and dad sing songs they wrote about me. My favorites are "Chimpkin Time,"and "TuffBuck Is the Goodest Dog."

When you shave me, I go from grey and floofy to brindle/tiger striped. I look like a totally different doggo!
