Aspen: Hello voters. I'm Aspen, a loyal Blue Heeler with a strong work ethic.
Let's discuss qualifications. I enjoy patrol work, neighborhood surveillance, and maintaining order. Leaves? Suspicious. Squirrels? Suspicious. Amazon drivers? Extremely suspicious until proven otherwise.
Belle: I enjoy naps, snacks, being admired, and occasionally pretending I can't hear commands despite hearing a snack bag open from three rooms away.
Aspen: Her hearing is selective.
Belle: It's curated.
Aspen: We may look different, but we've spent years side-by-side watching over the people we love most.
Belle: Our mom says we're her shadows. Wherever she goes, one of us is usually close behind. Sometimes both.
Aspen: I prefer to supervise.
Belle: I prefer to accompany.
Aspen: Together we've been there through busy days, quiet days, celebrations, home projects, long conversations, and everything in between.
Belle: We know when someone needs a laugh, a walk, a cuddle, or simply a friend sitting nearby.
Aspen: Our family gives us adventure, purpose, and more treats than we're willing to admit publicly.
Belle: In return, we provide loyalty, entertainment, emotional support, and a healthy amount of dog hair.
Aspen: Mostly Belle's.
Belle: Allegedly.
Aspen: We're more than pets—we're family.
Belle: Best friends.
Aspen: Teammates.
Belle: And proof that sometimes the best stories are told by two dogs sharing the same porch.
Aspen: If you choose us for the calendar, you'll get two personalities for the price of one.
Belle: A hardworking supervisor and a professional dreamer.
