Rules
The Photo must be of High-resolution and taken horizontally (landscape). Older Cellphone images may not provide the detail necessary to print in 11x8.5 for a calendar spread
- You may enter the photo contest more than once
- A copy of the 2027 calendar is not included with your entry, but you can earn one by receiving at least 30 votes for your entry.
- Photos of dogs, cats, horses, companion farm animals (goats, pigs, chickens, etc.), small mammals, reptiles, and birds are accepted
- Photos must only contain companion animals (no people or wildlife)
- Your Animal does NOT have to be adopted from The New Hampshire SPCA or live in the seacoast New Hampshire area to be eligible to enter the contest
- Photographs must either feature animals owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the animal's owner to submit their animal's image.
- Photos may contain more than one animal however, for voting purposes the photo can only belong to one category
- Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments).
- No AI generated or edited photos.
- Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar.
- Any photo not taken by you must have express permission for use before it can be included in the calendar
- Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest
- Photos must receive at least 50 votes to be included in the 2027 calendar
- All entries must be submitted by 8:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 17, 2026.
- All photos submitted become the property of The New Hampshire SPCA
