Nominee's story
Hello everyone! I would like to nominate my husband, Thomas Jackson. He found Yukon the husky in the Love Canal area and stayed with him until he was comfortable to get in our truck. My husband called me telling me about how bad this dog looked and how bad his condition was, so I met him in a parking lot with food and water for the poor baby. I cried seeing the shape this dog was in. I then took pictures of Yukon hoping to find his home/owner.. We brought him to Niagara County SPCA and they did wonders on that baby. In the meantime my Facebook post had over 10,000 comments and shares and even made the news and paper and now Yukon was adopted and in his forever home. My husband is a true saint no matter if it's a human or an animal. I am so grateful he was in the right place at the right time for Yukon and he truly deserves the recognition of being an amazing man who I am blessed to call my husband. ❤
