Nominee's story
Kyle and Alisha King of WNY Property Kings, a local construction company, converted their backyard into a local haunted house in 2019! They called it the Niagara Nightmares and every dollar raised from weekend haunts throughout the month of October raised crucial funds for Niagara County SPCA!

Through positive promotion of the haunt, their partnership with Niagara County SPCA was featured on television and newspapers across Western New York! The haunt raised $6,853 for the SPCA and made many people smile, laugh and scream from fun at the homemade haunt! The King Family plans to continue this tradition for many years to come!

WNY Property Kings also sponsored a cage at the shelter and helped a dog named Savannah get adopted! The King Family loves helping animals and puts their blood, sweat and tears into making their haunted house a success to benefit the shelter animals and that’s why they should be named “Shelter Animal Advocate of the Year!”
