When Jason Conte and Samantha Bassett at The Little Bakery heard that the shelter dogs of Niagara County SPCA needed help finding forever homes, they immediately reached out and offered to put shelter dogs flyers in their bread bags and pizza boxes. They printed the flyers themselves and went to work on promoting them at their business and on social media!

Then when they heard that one of the SPCA’s deaf pit bulls wasn’t having any luck finding a good home that could help him with his disability, they teamed up with Niagara County Undersheriff Mike Filicetti and offered the adopter one year of free dog food and two $100 gift certificates to both of their businesses as a way of helping promoting the pup more.

Jason and Samantha would love to do this as much as he can to ensure shelter dogs find the loving homes they deserve. That’s why they should be named “Shelter Animal Advocates of the Year!”
