Do you think your son or daughter, niece or nephew or even grandchild is an amazing artist? (Let's face it – they ALL have what it takes!) Please have him or her create their best, most interesting animal art (any kind of animal), take a photo and then upload that photo (1 well lit, in focus photo only please) between March 10, 2021 at 12PM EST and March 31, 2021 at 9PM EST. Works of art should be created on standard 8.5" by 11" paper. Art media can be chalk, charcoal, paint, crayon, ink, watercolor or any media really! Please include the first name of your child and their age with your entry. Children must be 12 years or younger and only original works of art will be accepted.
After you have uploaded the picture, it is time to campaign! Ask your family, friends and co-workers to vote for your child's artwork – each vote costs $1, and you can vote as many times as you like! Tell people what you're doing using your FB page, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok or whatever social media platform you use, at the bottom of your emails and through word-of-mouth

1st place prize:
Your Artwork is placed on the cover of our 2022 Niagara SPCA Kids' Animal Art Calendar, you also choose what month your artwork appears in (maybe it's your birthday month) AND your work of art made into a t-shirt! A photo of you and your pet will also be taken and you can tell his or her story which will be placed on your calendar month page.
2nd- 12th place:
Your choice of calendar month from the remaining months. A photo of you and your pet will also be taken and you can tell his or her story which will be placed on your calendar month page.
Runners up will have their artwork printed on the back cover of the calendar.

The Niagara SPCA is a non-profit no kill animal shelter located in Niagara County, NY whose mission is to prevent cruelty to all animals through public education on their humane treatment and to provide love, care, shelter and advocacy for companion animals in our community. We are committed to a no kill philosophy, embracing the practices of rehabilitating, fostering and rehoming companion animals in need and to preventing their overpopulation through community outreach.
The Niagara County SPCA receives no funding from the local, state or federal government. We are only able to provide services to our community through grants, donations and the support of our animal-loving community.
