Free Entry!
Entry period: The contest opens at 9:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. The contest closes at 10:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, May 14, 2023. All voting must take place within these dates.
- Only 1 entry per NICU graduate unless they are a multiple NICU babies (twins, triplets, etc.). If they are multiples, they may be entered together or separate.
- NICU grads may be any age to enter.
- All NICU grads of any duration of stay are welcome.
- Entry for the online portion of the contest is open to all U.S. residents.
- Hand to Hold and Kimberly-Clark's U.S. Huggies® brand employees and board members are ineligible for prizing but may participate in the contest.
- I do hereby consent and agree that Hand to Hold and its partnering organizations, including Kimberly-Clark's U.S. Huggies® brand, have the right to use photographs that I have submitted. I further consent that my provided name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. Hand to Hold and its partnering organizations have my permission to use my photo(s) publicly and may be used in print and/or digital publications including social media.
How can your NICU grad participate:- Select the "Participate" tab on the Homepage, then click "Enter Contest".
- Complete entry form for your NICU grad.
- Receive email notification once your submission is approved and ready to receive votes.
- Share with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc. to maximize your votes.
Eligible photographs: - Acceptable picture formats are .jpg and .png.
- Pictures must be in color.
- Pictures must not be copyrighted.
- The ‘Then' photo should not be a picture within a picture.
- The pictures should not be screenshots with empty space showing.
- Pictures should only feature the baby/child being entered into the contest. The only exception is for multiples (twins, triplets, etc.) who can be entered as a single entry. Do not enter pictures that have parents or other individuals.
- Pictures may not contain religious or political references.
- Any image that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene as determined by Hand to Hold may be removed from the contest.
- No visible brand names (Huggies® diapers or wipes are the exception).
- If the photo you submit is of poor quality (it will not reproduce well in the calendar) and cannot be sufficiently improved for publication, we will alert you.
Eligible NICU stories: - 250 words about your NICU journey.
- 150 words about "what makes you proud today".
- Stories may not include profanity or abbreviations of profanity.
- Stories may not contain religious or political-focused references.
Voting: - 100% of proceeds directly support NICU families through Hand to Hold®, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
- All votes are tax deductible. An email tax receipt will be sent after every vote transaction.
- Votes are $1 each with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes). There is no limit to the number of times a person can vote.
- You may vote for your own photo.
- All donations for the voting period are non-refundable.
