The classic vehicle with the most votes will get the prized cover photo, the center bio and will appear in all our 2026/27 Niles Flying-A Calendar promotions. The twelve runner ups will each get a month to themselves!!

The contest entry can be of any classic vehicle. You can purchase any date on the calendar for $10. Single-date pictures must be of a single vehicle and must be a picture that you have permission to use! Dates are first come, first served – once a date has been purchased, it is no longer available. Entries and single- date pictures are welcome from car owners and photographers. Photographers - please verify permission to use submitted photos by car owners.
Prizes
Grand Prize (1) -
The entrant with the most votes will have their photo featured on the cover of the 2026/27 Niles Flying-A Calendar as well as the center bio. You will be required to submit extra photos of your winning car along with its biography.
First Place Prize (12) –
The 12 entrants with the next highest number of votes will appear in a month of the 2026/27 Niles Flying-A Calendar. Preferences for months will be considered, but the Niles Flying-A reserves the right to make the final decision on allocation of months to individual winning entries.
Conditional Prize (open to any entrant) -
If your entry receives more than 100 votes you will receive one free copy of the 2026/27 Niles Flying-A Calendar.
The calendars will be available via the Niles.org online store on our website.
Reserve a Day to Honor your Car!Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your car, family or friends. Your car’s photo will appear on the day of your choice with a short caption. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day, type your caption and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $10.

Rules
1) Only a single classic car should be in the picture (no people, no group photos)
2) If you did not take the photo, you must have permission and provide photo credit info – name and IG contact of photographer
3) Winning photos will be used “As Is,” so they will need to be uploaded in Landscape (sideways) orientation.
4) Pictures should be a minimum of 12x9 @ 300 dpi (3600x2700 pixel size)
5) Your picture will NOT be used in the calendar unless deemed suitable by the Niles Flying-A.
6) The top 13 vote recipients will win a calendar month, with the top vote recipient to be placed on the cover and centerfold of the 2026/2027 calendar
The Niles Flying A is the recently restored Solon Brothers Associated Gas Station, operated and maintained by the Niles Flying A Historical Society, a 501c3 organization whose mission is dedicated to the preservation and education of the car culture in Niles, Fremont, and its relationship to the history of the American auto industry. The team at the Niles Flying A organizes monthly Classics & Coffee events to create a vibe for car appreciation and CAR-maraderie across the decades of car culture, appreciating the ingenuity of design and creativity in these historic machines.
