Curtis had been previously adopted and living in a home for several years when the owns had to move. They returned him to 9 Lives where he stayed for a lot of years until he came home with me. He is a huge Maine Coon and an absolute love.
Sylvia was found in a car engine to keep warm. She was 1 yr old and pregnant. Kittens were born and adopted, and Sylvia lived in the Barn Cat room for over 2 years. She was just showing signs of socialization so she was moved into that room, where I found her. I didn't want a female, and I wanted a cat closer to Curtis' age, but there is no controlling who you fall in love with. I fell in love with Sylvia. She acted feral for the first several months, but loved Curtis and wanted to be with him all the time. Gradually she got used to having a home, and especially to wet food daily. She is now a cuddler, purrer, and lap sitter.
