Bear was rescued out at the Baylands and brought to Dr. Rudiger to save him. He was starving at 4 lbs. and days from death’s door. She treated him with incredible kindness and wouldn’t give up on him. She refers to him as a miracle boy. The day we brought him home, she said he needed a soft place to land. Lo and behold, with meds, all the food he could eat and enormous amounts of love, he started to recover and gain weight. He now weighs a whopping 13 lbs. and owns the house and everyone in it. He’s absolutely MAGICAL in every way and we’re so blessed to have him.
