She was brought in for the second time right before the shelter was to close at the end of April. We came in to support the shelter and fell in love with this beauty when she picked my daughter and I out the moment we walked into her pen. She jumped down, started purring and wrapped herself around our legs.

The vet initially wasn't going to allow us to take her home because she had been so difficult. We assured her that we knew how to take care of her and that we wanted to try our best to make this her permanent home.

It was a rocky start at home because she was sick . After 4 months, she has settled in and loves her new home. She has a cat house to spend her days in, great views of neighbors going by and loves watching the squirrels gather nuts in the backyard.

This picture was for celebration of her first July 4th holiday with her new family.
