Cat or kitten's story or bio
I adopted my Siamese twins, Mai Tai and Moxie at ten weeks, three days after I adopted Cooper, an 8 year old Bichon Frise mix. They think of him as a klutzy old cat, that needs to be pestered and he responds by tackling them and rolling them back and forth, till they are perfectly round. Then he tries to bite their heads off. Somehow this seems to be the best game ever, since the kitties keep coming back for more and never run off.
They came to the clinic at three days old (with their mom), so they never learned the fine art of hunting. Moxie is compensating, though, and proudly brings home big dried leaves. She gets praised a lot for them and so far hasn't branched out (no pun intended) to livelier prey.
The nearest street is over 1/3 mile away, so they spend a lot of time climbing trees and chasing each other through the bushes. They barely have time to come in for treats and cuddles. Not a bad life...
