Cat or kitten's story or bio
We adopted Tucker as a kitten. He was wonderfully nurtured by his foster "mom" Vanda, so when he came to us, he was very well socialized. He is a Maine Coon cat, the largest breed of domestic cats. They are considered "the dog of the cat world," and Tucker is just that: friendly, loving, gentle, social, clownish, and altogether a charmer. Every visitor to our home goes away asking if they can please take Tucker home with them! Thanks to my sister Devora, a long-time volunteer at NLF, for encouraging us to adopt two kittens, and thanks to Vanda and all the wonderful folks who foster kittens for Nine Lives!
