Ashes is a natural born, accomplished huntress who specializes in catching flying bugs. She was adopted from Nine Lives in April 2016 from the shy cat cage. Both she and her brother, Smokey, were relatively feral when brought home by their human parents. Though she is generally distrustful of humans, over time she has begun to open up and show her inner friendly cat. Ashes adores everything about Christmas time, particular the tree and ornaments. Her human parents like to refer to her as their “Christmas miracle”; Christmas eve was the first time she blessed them with the honor of allowing them to pet her. Ashes lives in Cupertino, California, where she enjoys bird watching, napping in the sun, and spending time with her family.
