Nine Lives Foundation is a community based non-profit 501c3 no kill cat organization focused on rescuing cats and kittens from high kill shelters and at-risk homeless situations and placing them in our no-kill shelter until they can find permanent homes. Our new Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic provides affordable surgical and vaccination services to the community and supports the efforts of other cat rescue and TNR organizations by providing high quality high volume spay/neuter services six days a week. More than 4000 cats and kittens are spayed and neutered annually through our low cost spay/neuter/TNR programs.
Since 2004, the Nine Lives Foundation has welcomed thousands of cats and kittens into our shelter that were deemed unadoptable by other animal organizations. More than 12,000 cats and kittens have found loving, permanent homes and last year nearly 200 of them were featured in our 2016 calendar. Our no-kill philosophy drives us to find a safe haven for nearly every cat we encounter, including those facing medical (FELV / FIV) and physical challenges.
Nine Lives Foundation does not receive funding from any city, state or government agencies. We rely on private donations, fees generated from our low cost spay/neuter/vaccination clinics, adoption fees and fundraising activities such as this calendar.
