This year's theme is "New Beginnings" — because every kitty deserves a second chance. So if you love taking photos of your cat and want to help us save lives, this contest is for you!

Last year, we raised $40,000 to save cats in need and support our life-saving mission. Let's beat that goal in this 6^th annual contest, which runs August 1^st – September 6^th.

Here's how to enter:

• Submit your best cat or kitten photo to get your kitty featured in the 2022 Nine Lives Calendar and for a chance to win the honor of "Cover Cat," "Cat of the Month," or other featured inside cover and back pages.

• Every photo submitted will be included somewhere in the calendar!

• Vote for your favorite photos and ask your friends and family to do the same. This is a fundraiser, so every $5 vote is a $5 donation to Nine Lives!

• Enter and vote as often as you like August 1st - September 6th. Each photo entry is a $25 donation and includes a complimentary copy of the 2022 calendar.

• The competition heats up as the top contenders fight for the honor of "Cover Cat." Ask your friends, family, and co-workers to join in the fun and vote for their favorite photos. Keep checking this website daily to watch us get closer to our fundraising goal with every vote!

• All cats are welcome! But to be eligible as one of the top 15 photo winners, your cat/cats must have been adopted from or fostered for Nine Lives Foundation.

• Your complimentary calendar will be available in November. You can choose whether you want to pick up or have it shipped for $5. You can also pre-order extra calendars for $15 each. They make wonderful and unique holiday gifts and are a great way to show off your amazing felines to friends and family.
