We adopted Rafiki (original name Bandit) from Nine Lives in 2007 alongside Meeku. We still remember Rafiki coming to greet us in the big room full of cats and knew that he had picked us to be his new family. Rafiki had a bad hind leg when we adopted him and eventually we had to remove the leg, but he adapted very quickly and is still as active and agile as before. He is very loving and likes to follow us around the house. We are lucky to have Rafiki in our lives.
