When we adopted Cosmo (formerly as Uno) in June, he was so quiet and shy. He started coughing constantly after two days in our home. We took him to the vet, did a thorough respiratory examination on him, luckily, it was just a systemic infection most likely caused by stress with a new environment. With treatment and time, he's fully recovered now and become the spunky playful explorer.
He's grown into a tremendous athlete that can do all kinds of runs, flips, and jumps. He loves chasing his feather toys, monitoring his bird friends by the window, meowing for food and pets. Given treats, he's learned to meow back when hearing his name, sit politely and give us his paws for nail-trimming.
We're so grateful for having this purrfect angle as he's brought us so much joy and companionship in this chaotic pandemic. We wish every cat in Nine Lives a furrever home!
