Luck of the Draw

Get a unique piece of artwork of your pet!

How does it work?

Five EASY steps

  1. Submit a photo of your pet(s) by going to "Participate" tab - all animals welcome, not just cats! Feel free to submit your guinea pig, pot-bellied pig, or banana slug!
  2. Make a minimum donation of $30 (you can donate more by adding votes - the kitties thank you!)
  3. One of our AMAZING VOLUNTEER artists creates the artwork using the photo received of your pet
  4. We email/text you the artwork when its ready. You can print it, post it, frame it, use it as your screensaver, share it with friends and family… it's really up to you!
  5. You can also vote and hope you win an extra special prize!

Who are these volunteer artists?

EVERYONE is an artist…. Our artists include seniors, schoolkids, families, shelter volunteers… as well as some very talented professional artists! Basically anyone who loves cats and likes to create art! It really is “luck of the draw” which artist’s work you get!

Where does the money go?

All the funds raised help Nine Lives to rescue at-risk cats and kittens. We are now in “kitten season” when there are more kitties than ever that need our help - every dollar we raise will help us to save even more lives! And even better, your donation is tax-deductible!

Everyone gets a custom-made piece of art of their cat – so everyone is a winner! But in addition, the top 10 photos with the most votes will win a special prize!

The top three will have their pet's portrait done by one of our accomplished artists - see their work below - and you will get the original art! (You will also get an electronic piece of art by a randomly-assigned artist)

Do I have to vote?

No, but we'd love to hear about your favorites and we hope you encourage your pet's fans to vote for them. Encourage voters by sharing on social media and helping to spread the word! Votes are $1 each (every $1 donation counts as one vote) and every dollar goes to save more cats and kittens!
