Peter the Great came to NMDR quite unexpectedly as we were on a dachshund rescue. I saw him patiently dealing with the chaos around and all sorts of animals in and around his space (chickens, goats, and other dogs) and when he moved from place to place he had a very noticeable limp. We offered to bring him to NMDR and have him see the orthopedic surgeon for an evaluation. He has since had surgery on both knees and will be on lifelong arthritis treatment. He is the sweetest boy and just learned that it’s ok to come inside and enjoy the A/C on a hot day. From the moment our eyes met, I knew this guy would be a Thompson!
