Photos for Hope: Funding the future for NMDR dogs

While we happen to think the ultimate prize for this contest are the bragging rights that come along with winning, we want to make sure you and your pet get something amazing to show for your support and hard work!

Prizes for the Photos for Hope:

Funding the future for NMDR Dogs will be issued for 1^st through 14^th place, as well as any participant with 50 votes or more being featured in photo grids at the end of the calendar.

Grand Prize (1^st):

Cover of 2026 Calendar, $100 Chewy Gift Card, NMDR Swag Bag, 2 copies of calendar

2^nd Prize:

Choice of month in 2026 Calendar, $50 Chewy Gift Card, 1 copy of calendar

3^rd Prize:

Choice of month in 2026 Calendar (following 2^nd place choice), 1 copy of calendar

4^th-13^th Prize:

Month feature in 2026 Calendar, 1 copy of calendar

14^th Prize:

Back cover of 2026 Calendar, 1 copy of calendar

Additional Prizes:

All entrants with 50 votes or more will have their pets photo featured in a photo grid in the last pages of the 2026 calendar.

Rules

Photos must be of dogs. Photos including other pets and humans will not be eligible.
Photos can include more than one dog.
Dogs do NOT have to be adopted from National Mill Dog Rescue to be eligible for this contest. However, dogs adopted from NMDR are highly encouraged to enter.
Dogs do NOT have to live in Colorado or Missouri to be eligible for this contest.
Photos MUST be in a horizontal (landscape) format to be eligible for a calendar spot. If your photo does not meet these criteria and you want to submit it, reach out to us for assistance altering your photo.
Photos MUST be high resolution (prefer 300 dpi or greater) to be considered for a calendar spot.
Photos must be color. No filters or text can be used on the photo.
Professional photos are allowed and encouraged, but those with photographer watermarks will not be eligible. Please obtain permission from photographer before entering their image.
Any photos deemed inappropriate for any reason will be removed from the contest immediately.
Photos must receive at least 50 votes to be included in the calendar (small photo included in grid at end of calendar).
Mail in/hand delivered photos will not be accepted for this contest. Photos must be submitted digitally through the GoGo Photo Contest website.
All photos submitted will become the property of National Mill Dog Rescue for us in the fundraiser at any time.

About Us

If you aren’t familiar with the mission of National Mill Dog Rescue, everything can simply be explained via our mission statement: To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome discarded breeding dogs and to educate the public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.

Started out of our founder’s backyard in 2007 after the rescue of breeding dog, Lily, NMDR has become a national movement to save commercial breeding dogs when discarded. Their fate otherwise would undoubtedly be horrific. Each year we welcome more dogs through our doors and grow a little more, saving countless lives. As of 2025 we’ve rescued well over 21,000 dogs!
