August (short-coat Chihuahua), Jazzy (Maltese), Conner (long-hair Chihuahua), and Susie (Maltese) were all rescued from NMDR over the last 10 years (2015 thru 2025). August is a sweet sensitive soul who loves to be connected to his human...well actually he loves everyone. Jazzy is our newest rescue and is just an absolute love and loves everyone. Conner and Susie were more fearful/shutdown dogs who are both thriving in their home. Susie was on anxiety medication when she first came home and Conner was a fear biter. All four get along amazingly and can often be found snuggling together or in cahoots to catch the cat together.
