This is my most precious boy, Rizzo. He was rescued by NMDR on May 30, 2016. For nine years he was my shadow and best little friend.
Rizzo’s first Freedom Ride was from a puppy mill in Kansas to NMDR on May 30, 2016, and his best Freedom Ride was from my lap to Jesus’ on May 30, 2025. His Gotcha Day was June 13, 2025, and I got his ashes back on what would’ve been his ninth Gotcha Day, June 13, 2025. There is not enough ink and paper in the universe to express how amazing he was or how much I loved him. I will miss him every day until we’re back together in Heaven. Thank you NMDR for doing the work you do. Thank you rescuing and bringing me my most precious boy.
