Your Pet's Story or Bio
Fergie was adopted in 2017 and has been home over 8 years! When she came home she was very scared. She hid her head under the fridge when the cats were meeting her. Her new dog sisters were instrumental in helping her grow. Ella taught her to chase squirrels and run after bugs. Tess taught her to snuggle and relax. They both are very protective of her!

Slowly but surely, she has gained confidence. She has lived here longer than in her mill, NMDR shelter and her foster home combined. She loves routines and consistency but also tries new things, especially adventures in the car.

She is not a lap dog unless there is cheese or some ice cream to share, but she snuggles close by wanting to touch. Blankets are a favorite thing - no more cold nights for Fergie!

This girl is thriving and amazes everyone she meets! We are so thankful that NMDR rescued her! She is a true gift and watching her learn to be a dog is a real blessing!! Thank you, NMDR!!
