Miles was found as a stray in WV and taken to animal control. I brought him home on 11-6-2021. I knew he was Lyme positive, but noticed right away that he had a very significant limp that wasn't typical lameness. Our veterinarian discovered that he had an OCD lesion in his left shoulder and needed surgery right away. After only a 2 week recovery, he was full speed ahead; as if he had never had an issue at all! Miles loves every person and dog who he meets, thinks butcher bones are the greatest, enjoys hiking trails, and playing in creeks. Of course, he keeps our neighbors entertained with his baying (I joke that he is the "fourth tenor"). Miles is the greatest boy ever. I'm so glad he rescued me.
