Cutest Pooch Contest

Do you think your pet is the cutest? Well, we want to see. Help the Kiwanis Club support the children of North Ridgeville. Enter your pet in the 4th Annual Cutest Pooch Contest and have a chance to win a gift basket for your special pooch, or a gift card and receive recognition at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival.

This fundraiser is being conducted by The Kiwanis Club of North Ridgeville.   

(Net proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support the children of North Ridgeville by providing scholarships, Amtrykes, snack bags and used towards other children related projects.)

NOTE:   All Cutest Pooch dog contestants can pick up a bandanna at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival.  
About Us
Kiwanis Club of North Ridgeville was chartered in 2010 and is dedicated to serving the children of our community and of the world. The members of the club are comprised of a cross section of community volunteers dedicated to making a positive difference for our children and their future.

Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive. Our Kiwanis club fulfills the Kiwanis mission by serving our children and community through Kiwanis Service Projects.
Rules
Contest Entry:
  • Submit your dog's photo with the pet's name, owner's name and contact information (email and phone). Provide a few short sentences about your dog and why he/she is the cutest pooch.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry to submit a photo.
  • An entry fee of $5 is charged for each photograph which also counts as your pet's first 5 votes. There is no maximum number of entries. Each photo entry accumulates its own votes. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Photo Eligibility:
  • Digital images or digital scans of slides or prints must be uploaded as JPG/JPEG files or PNG.
  • Your photo may have more than one pet; although please designate which dog you are entering in the contest.
  • The dog entered in the contest must be under the care of the person submitting the entry.
  • Photos should only have the pet(s)--no people in the photos please.
  • Please ensure your photos are of high enough quality to reproduce well.

Rules for Voting:
  • Online votes for photo entries must be submitted between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 7, 2024 and 7 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
  • $1 donation per vote, with a minimum of $5 for 5 votes.
  • There is no limit on the number of votes one may cast.
  • All donations to the photo contest are non-refundable.
  • Entrants are welcome to vote for their own photo.
  • Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends at 7 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
  • Votes will be periodically tabulated and displayed on the contest website.

Contest Time Period:
  • Online entries and voting submissions must be submitted between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 7, 2024 and 7 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 3, 2024. 
  • Contest winners will be notified the week of Aug. 5, 2024.

Winners:
  • If a potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, an alternate winner will be selected in his/her place.
  • Presentation: The winning dogs will be recognized at the opening of the North Ridgeville's Corn Festival on Friday evening, Aug. 9, 2024 at the gazebo.  The winners will have an opportunity to ride in the Corn Festival parade on Sunday, Aug. 11th.
