Lexi keeps her hoof against her baby Asher as they nap. She always keeps a close eye on him but refuses to give up her naps. She has made sure he loves them too and that he doesn’t get up until she is ready.

Why is this photo special?
Lexi (mom) was my mom’s youth horse and Asher (baby) is going to be my youth horse. My mom is always watching out for me the way Lexi watches out for her Asher too. Mother and child share a special bond.
