North Texas Basset Hound Rescue (NTBHR) is holding our first ever VIRTUAL contest to crown our King and Queen of the Basset Hound Shuffle and Games. NTBHR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
NTBHR is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization providing medical care, transportation, foster care, and adoptions to Basset Hounds in need. During the last fiscal year, NTBHR rescued and re-homed 85 Basset Hounds. All animals are given medical care including, but not limited to: spay/neuter, heartworm treatment, dental care, and micro-chipping. Our goals for the current year are to increase our volunteer base and our foster care program, allowing us to rescue more Basset Hounds, and to boost our fundraising to cover our rising veterinary costs.
Submit your favorite photos- entering is only $5! Voting is only $1, and we encourage you to ask your family and friends to vote and support our rescue!
This contest is open to all Basset Hounds, not just those located in North Texas.
Prizes
King
The male Basset Hound with the most photograph votes will be crowned “King” of the NTBHR Basset Hound Shuffle and Games
Queen
The female Basset Hound with the most photograph votes will be crowned “Queen” of the NTBHR Basset Hound Shuffle and Games.
If the King and Queen are present at the Shuffle (9:00 am – 1:30 pm on October 24, 2015 at Chisholm Park located at 2200 Norwood Drive in Hurst, TX), they will be announced and congratulated at the event. If the Basset(s) cannot attend, we will post a photo of them to honor their royalty.
The King and Queen will each receive a prize to acknowledge their reign. If the hounds are not present, the prize will be mailed to their owner.
