Pet's Story or Bio
Frank was adopted from OMHS as a bonded pair with his “sister” Helen. He had been caught as a stray. When he arrived at OMHS he was very depressed and shut down. He hid in his cage, stopped grooming himself and would freeze in fear. It was apparent he had not had a lot of human interaction. He went to a foster home where it was decided he needed a companion to bring him out of his shell. He got a kitten “sister” named Helen who was born at OMHS. She is the polar opposite of Frank. Bold, confident, sassy and hilarious. Frank learned how to be a cat again and to slowly trust humans by watching and interacting with Helen. Now the two are inseparable. They eat, sleep and play with each other. We adopted them in December 2021 and it has been amazing to see Frank thrive. His walls have come down. Everyday his trust and affection grows for us. He has become such a little love bug! We love them both so very much. We are so appreciative of all the love, dedication and work that OMHS and his fosters put in to make him the cat cat he is today. A sweet little gentleman who is living his best life!
