• You may enter as many bassets as you wish!
• Please only one picture per dog, and yes, you can have more than one basset in a picture.
• Contest is open to ALL bassets! You do not need to be from Ohio or have an OBHR dog to enter! All OBHR adoptees that are non-bassets are also encouraged to enter!
• Entries will be accepted throughout the contest but remember to enter early so you can accumulate votes.
• Entry fee is $ 5 per picture.
• Each vote costs $1 with a $5 minimum purchase.
• Winners may be asked to submit a different picture at the discretion of the calendar printer due to image quality.
• The best quality pictures are not taken with a zoom, pictures using a zoom are not the best quality when enlarged for printing.
• The best published pictures are ones taken in landscape (horizontal) form. Winners will be asked to submit a horizontal photo.

First place winner will be featured on the cover of our 2023 OBHR calendar and will receive a personalized Tumbler with their dog’s pictures as well as a personalized photo key chain! They will also receive a free OBHR T-shirt and a free calendar!

Second and Third place winners will be featured on a month of the 2023 calendar as well as a personalized photo key chain and a free OBHR T-shirt and calendar!

The next 10 runners up will be featured on a month of next year’s calendar and receive a free copy of the calendar!
