Tell us something fun about your dog
I adopted old man Gus around October of 2023 from OBHR. He was my first dog and I don't think I'll ever get that lucky again--despite a rough beginning to life, he was the most well-behaved, gentle, and quiet basset you could ever ask for. His favorite things were his long walks and car trips to go see his best doggy friend Suki. He was well-loved by his extended friends and family (and given plenty of turkey).

While I only got 6 months to spend with him, I'm thankful to OBHR for the effort put into his rescue and giving him those few months more to have a chance to live life to the fullest! Thanks to Jay for fostering him and giving him the first taste of the good life.
