Oceanside Kiwanis has a way for you to prove it! Just enter your cherished furry, four-footed, winged, finned, or reptilian best friend into our Best Pet Photo Contest. The contest is open to living and nonliving pets of all sizes, shapes and species. The photo with the most votes at the end wins, so snap a picture of your pet and tell your friends and family to vote for your photo!

We are raising money for the kids of deployed military parents as well as underprivileged children in the community.   Your donations will help us send these children, ages 8-14, to Kamp Kiwanis for one week of sleepaway camp, where they will have fun learning new skills and getting close to nature.  

 How it Works
Each photo entry will cost $10 and includes one free vote. Anyone can purchase votes for $1.00 with a minimum donation of $5.00 for five votes. There is no limit on how many votes you can purchase and submit. Votes can be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments.  When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account.

 First place will be awarded to the photo with the greatest number of votes; second place will have the second highest number of votes. In the event of a tie, the entry that was submitted first will be the winner in that category. All prizes must be picked up in Oceanside, NY.

 Rules

• There can be only one pet per photo. However, you may enter multiple photos in the contest, paying the $10 entry donation for each pet, and each animal's picture will earn his/her own votes.
• Pet pictures that include people will not be allowed. Pictures submitted with humans will be disqualified.
• No "special effects" or filters may be added to the photos. However, please feel free to dress up your pet in a cute outfit or costume.

Oceanside Kiwanis reserves the right to remove photo entries that are inappropriate or do not follow the rules of the contest.
