AFTER the competition, starting in the first week in August 202.
Grand Prizes:
The winners of the photo contest will be the 13 entrants who receive the most votes.
The Top Winner will win the cover photo for the 2022 calendar AND a 2-night stay in a Main Floor Triplex Cabin at Middle Beach Lodge in Tofino on Vancouver Island AND three bags of NUTRAM dog food (your choice of recipes and bag sizes) AND a gift bag containing an assortment of dog toys and treats donated by Qualicum Pet Foods. 2nd – 13th place winners will each be featured as a dog of the month AND receive three bags of NUTRAM dog food (your choice of recipes and bag sizes). The 13 dogs will be professionally photographed by Pauliina Saarinen Photography for the 2022 calendar. The photography sessions will take place at
a mutually agreed location on Vancouver Island in August or September 2021.
Some travel to the photography location may be required. If the winner is unable to commit to a session in August or September 2021, the winner will forfeit the winning and the next top voted dog will take the top dog's spot in the calendar.
All winners will have the opportunity to purchase artwork and images following their calendar photography session if desired.
Weekly Mini-Contest Prizes:
Each week the dog receiving the highest number of NEW votes will win a mini-contest prize package. Some weeks there may also be an additional local prize to be won by the top voted dog within a defined locality. The winners of local prizes will be determined by the number of NEW votes received during the week. Local prizes are redeemed at the place of donating business. In the event of a tie, a random computerized draw will be held between the highest vote-getters of the week to determine that week's winners. In case there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized draw will be held for all eligible dogs. Certain individual business restrictions and limitations may apply and may vary by business.
