My husband and I went to OHS to try to adopt Athena, a timid but cute little dog. We were second on the waiting list, and the first people were picked,
Afterwards, we were walking through the dog's cages, and Freya was next door to Athena, and she jumped up to greet us and leaned her head into my body, and it was clear she was picking us. We got her three days later, and she's known as "the sweetest girl on the block" in our neighborhood of dogs.
