Chancellor was adopted from OHS and was so terrified from his previous treatment that he couldn't come out of his crate or look us in the eye. When we brought him home he stayed hidden for 2 days, exploring at night when we slept (on the couch with binoculars to keep an eye on him but give him space). We were finally able to call him to us and he's been getting spoiled ever since.
