We call her Ruby Roo. She will tell you all about everything as long as you talk her language.....Roo.

Ruby came to OESR from the mountains of North Carolina with many of her pack mates. She and her brother, Tigger, were the pups of the pack being only 9 mo. old. The pack lived on the mountain while their owner lived in town. He visited to feed them but otherwise they were crated. Other than their owner/hunter, these dogs know nothing of the outside world. It was a very big scary place. With the help of our pack (Dexter, Harvey, Winston & Pluto), we have come a long way building confidence in Ruby. She is still very skittish and shy and does still wake abruptly to nightmares, but she's getting better. She loves us, we love her and she knows she's safe and home furever!
