PALS Haven is a 501(c)(3) no kill, non-profit organization founded in 2004 to save the lives of abandoned dogs and cats. Once a pet is at PALS, it has found a safe haven and is given a second chance at life.
Prizes
The top
three fundraisers will each win a place for their pet to be featured on one of three cans in a 4-pack special limited edition Five Window Beer Company beer! (One animal per label)
The
fourth label will be
awarded in a draw. Each photo submission will receive
1 entry into the drawing per
$250 raised.
The next three highest fundraisers will receive runner-up prizes that include a Five Window Beer Company gift certificate.
Rules
All entries and votes must be submitted by the deadlines listed below in order to be included in the final vote count.
- The submission and voting periods begin at 10:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Friday, August 1, 2025, and end 10:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
- Your dog or cat does NOT have to be adopted from PALS Haven or any other shelter to be eligible to enter the contest.
- Photo Requirements
- Acceptable photo formats: .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .tif
- Be high resolution (300 dpi minimum)
- If you are taking photos with your phone, please be sure to capture your image at the highest possible setting to meet resolution criteria
- People are not allowed in photos
- All photo submissions must be digital. We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles or any digital effects.
- Once photos are entered, you grant PALS Haven the right to use them at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.
- Donation fee of $25 per photo, which includes 25 votes!
- You may submit as many photos as you like
- All proceeds go directly to the care of animals at PALS Haven which include animal sheltering and veterinary care for homeless dogs and cats.

In June of 2021, after a decade of planning, fundraising and construction, our dream of operating a large scale, modern rescue facility became a reality. PALS Haven is located on 2-acres of land just off Sargent Road and Ray Road in Lodi, California. The rescue facility totals 13,000 sq. ft., consisting of a main building that houses viewing rooms, a cattery, a free roam cat room, medical isolation units for cats and dogs, a grooming room and an in-house vet clinic. The second building houses the kennels for our big dogs, as well as a smaller kennel section for our senior and small dogs. PALS Haven has a total of 14 outdoor dog yards, including 3 large grass yards and 4 astroturf meet-and-greet yards so all our dogs get plenty of time outside, throughout the day.
PALS Haven was built completely debt-free thanks to the generosity and support of the community. And, with your continued support, we can build sustainability for this amazing facility and continue to serve our community in an even greater capacity – saving the lives of even more stray and abandoned companion animals for many, many years to come!
