What Is It?
An exciting way to raise money in advance of this year’s Petoberfest on October 29, 2021. By holding the contest now, we will have the calendars available for purchase at Petoberfest, our biggest event of the year! Enter your favorite photo of your pet for a $10 donation and encourage your family, friends, and co-workers to vote for your pet to win one of 13 coveted spots in the calendar. Voting requires a $1 donation for each vote. Feel free to cast multiple votes and distribute them among multiple entrants. Voting begins immediately on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 8:00 am. Who Wins?
- The 13 single photo entries getting the most votes will be eligible to have that photo featured as a full-page pet of the month OR on the calendar cover. The top vote-getter chooses the cover or any of the 12 months. The 2nd highest vote-getter then chooses from the remaining pages on the calendar, and so forth until the pages are all filled.
- All remaining photo entrants will be placed randomly in the open squares of the calendar that do not have a day of the month, or in a small photo space along the bottom of a page.
- In the event of a tied number of votes, the tie will go to the entry that achieved the tied vote total first.
What Do They Win?
1st Prize: The top entry may choose to be on the cover or any other of the 12 months in the calendar.
Top 3: The top 3 entries will receive a professional photo shoot of the pet from one of our photographers who have donated a photo shoot. Arrangements for the time and location of photo shoot will be handled by the photographer.

About us: Partners for Pets was founded in 1996 by Phil Rotolo to help rescue abandoned and stray cats and dogs and find homes for them. Our efforts to fully vet all animals, to include spay/neuter began two years ago. Since then, the number of adoptions has risen sharply but so has the expense. Please help us achieve our mission!
