I am a Pasadena Humane Alumni!

A little about me...
For months, I waited patiently at a shelter in Northern California, watching other dogs find their families while I hoped my turn would come. As the days stretched into weeks, I began to wonder if my forever home was still out there.

Then everything changed. I was chosen to be part of a special transport to Pasadena, trading places with a group of cats headed north to my shelter. It felt like the start of an adventure, though I had no idea where it would lead.

Back then, I was called Malibu. Not long after arriving in Pasadena, I met the people who would become my family. They took one look at me and knew I belonged with them. Along with a new home, they gave me a new name—Ozzie—and it fits me perfectly.

These days, life is pretty wonderful. I enjoy three walks every day, plenty of belly rubs, and endless love. You'll often find me making friends at the dog park or exploring the trails of the Arroyo on long walks with my family. After months of waiting and wondering, I finally found exactly what I had been dreaming of all along: a place to call home.
