Welcome to the PAWS of NE Louisiana "Make Your Pet A Star" Calendar Photo Contest Fundraiser! This fundraiser is a wonderful way to celebrate your pet while helping us raise funds for our programs. YOU will get to decide the winning photos through our online photo contest! The 13 photos that receive the most votes will receive prizes (see our Prizes page) and will be featured as our 2019 PAWS calendar cover photo and 12 monthly photos. DON’T THINK YOUR PHOTO CAN GENERATE THAT MANY VOTES? We will also have a Judge's Choice photo that will win prizes too! The remaining photos will be posted as thumbnail pictures on the days of the week.
Our photo contest is open to all types of pets however, there should be NO HUMANS in the photos. Entry fee for each photo is $10.00. When you enter your photo you will have the chance to say a few words about your pet(s). Then invite your friends and family to vote for your photo! Votes are $1 each. A minimum vote donation of $5 is required.
SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO ENTRY HERE! All proceeds will benefit the programs of PAWS which include Animal Shelter Rescue, Spay/Neuter Assistance and Humane Education and outreach. PAWS is a 501(c)3 organization, making all donations towards voting in the contest tax deductible. You can vote as often as you like. You can apply all of your votes to one photo or vote for multiple photos during the contest.
For the best chance to win, be sure to spread the word about your pet's entry into the contest. Ask family and friends to go online and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! You can use the sharing buttons that appear on your pet's photo page to share your photo entry with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers. And you can email links to family and friends to encourage voting for your pet's photo.
Contest begins 10/3/18 at 8:00am (CST) and runs through 10/24/18 at 8:00pm (CST)
Calendars can be purchased when you enter your photo into the contest or online at our website www.pawsnela.org for $15. If you would like your calendar shipped to you, you must pay the additional $5 shipping charge. Calendars will be printed by 12/1/18 and available for delivery (if you paid for shipping) or for pick up shortly after. If you pre-purchase a calendar, you will be contacted by email once the calendars are ready.
