Our 2020 Calendar Project to benefit a local rescue is well under way. This year's contest is a two tier contest. In early 2019 when our contest was announced, 14 dogs secured spots for a professional photo shoot and to be represented on the front cover, back cover as well as each month. Now that their professional portrait sessions are complete, it's time to vote for the Grand Prize Winner for the cover!

We've also extended a second tier to this contest with a challenge to you: Using your phone or camera, capture the best image you can that best displays your dogs "pawsonality". Your image will be featured on a calendar "day" at random. The winner will receive a professional pet portrait session and spot in next year's calendar.

Votes for each (cover and biggest pawsonality) are $1 per vote and go to benefit Central Arkansas Rescue Effort.


Our contest is an exciting two fold contest. 14 dogs had professional photos in the early part of 2019 to be on the top pages of our calendar as well as compete for the cover. Of the professional entrants, the winner with the most votes gets the coveted cover spot.

The second option is where you come in! Anyone can submit a cell phone image of their own dog and your goal is to capture your dog's best "pawsonality" . These images will be featured on any random "day" block on the bottom of the calendar. AS you submit your photo, please feel free to tell us all about your dog and their unique pawsonality.

The dog that wins the most votes here gets a free photo session and spot in next year's calendar. (session includes the session and spot in calendar only. Does not include prints nor digital files )

With fun, bold pet portraits, we help clients capture forever memories of their furry friends. As part of our work every year we love helping local rescues. This year our calendar contest will benefit CARE. Proceeds from your entry fee and votes will go directly to CARE.

Created in 1998, CARE has grown from an initial group of four volunteers into an organization with three employees and hundreds of volunteers who devote thousands of hours to its rescue/adoption and spay/neuter efforts and to recruit the necessary financial support. CARE is a 501(c)(3) Arkansas nonprofit corporation and a charitable organization fully funded by donations. All donations are tax-deductible. CARE's headquarters/gift shop is located at 5516 Kavanaugh Boulevard, Little Rock (in the Heights Business District).
