We rescued 4-year-old Sammie last year at a pet adoption being put on by Carson Cats at Pet Smart in El Segundo. We searched the entire South Bay for weeks to find a cat who looked like her. Before we found her, my husband already knew he wanted to name our next cat Sammie. As it turned out, her name was already Sammie. It was meant to be. She's the most mellow cat we've ever owned. She loves to be petted or Furminated nonstop and never bites or whacks. She's our little couch potato!
