PAL dog’s story or bio
Lucy (June 24, 2012- March 3, 2025) -- Lucy was a volunteer with People Animals Love for nearly 10 years visiting elementary, high school and college students including those at Georgetown and George Washington Universities. She also had dozens of young students read to her via Zoom during the pandemic through PAL’s innovative online reading program. Her favorite PAL visits were to the US Capitol Police and the hardworking government employees at the US Department of State and USAID.
