The following prizes will be awarded.
BEST IN SHOW!
- The pet with the most votes will be crowned the “Perfect Pet of Portage” for 2022.
- The winning pet will be prominently featured on the front label of a special beer brewed by North Water Brewing Co.
- The pet owner will have the opportunity to help name the beer (subject to approval).
- The winning pet’s picture will be featured in local print and electronic media, including prominently displayed in a full page ad of the Record Courier.
- The winning pet will receive an 11x17 poster-size copy of the ad.
- The winning pet’s owner will receive an 11x14 framed rendering of his or her pet.
- The winning pet’s owner will receive a complimentary 4-pack of NWB Perfect Pet beer.
- The winning pet may be asked to attend promotional events and be available for interviews by the news media.
First Place Winners in Each Category
- The pet who has the highest number of votes in each category will be deemed the “Nearly-Perfect Pet of Portage for 2022.”
- These winners will be featured on the label of the special brew in a smaller photo than the Best in Show winner.
- These winners’ picture will be featured in local print and electronic media, including displayed in a full page ad of the Record Courier.
- The winning pets will receive an 11x17 poster-size copy of the ad.
- The winning pet’s owners will receive a 8x10 rendering of his or her perfect pet.
- The winning pet’s owner will receive a complimentary 4-pack of NWB Perfect Pet beer.
- In the event that the BEST IN SHOW pet is unable or unwilling to fulfill all of the roles and responsibilities of being the Perfect Pet of Portage the pet with the most votes among the first place winners will assume that title and receive all the benefits described for the Best in Show prize.
Place winners 2-10 in each category
- The pets placing 2-10 in each category will be deemed “Close-enough-to Perfect Pet of Portage for 2022.”
- These pets’ pictures will be featured in a smaller display in a full page ad of the Record Courier.
- The winning pet’s owners will receive an 11x17 poster-size copy of the ad.
