Pet Pour-trait Contest

Whether they're a couch potato, treat enthusiast, neighborhood celebrity or professional mischief-maker, every pet has a story—and now's their chance to shine. 

Enter Animal Friends' Pet Pour-trait Contest and show off your favorite photo while supporting animals in need. Rally your friends and family, collect votes and compete for a chance to see your pet featured on a custom beer label from Acclamation Brewing, a specialty coffee roast from Compass Point Coffee or a frozen custard flavor from Glen's Custard. 

Every vote supports Animal Friends' lifesaving mission and helps provide care, comfort and second chances for animals in need. 

Nominations and voting open July 17 and close August 28.

How It Works
  • Step 1: Enter Your Pet 
    Submit your pet's photo with a $10 donation and create their contest page. 

  • Step 2: Share Their Story 
    Tell us what makes your pet one of a kind. Then share their page with friends, family and coworkers. 

  • Step 3: Collect Votes 
    Every vote is a $1 donation to Animal Friends. The more votes your pet receives, the higher they'll climb on the leaderboard. 

  • Step 4: Claim Bragging Rights 
    The three pets with the most votes will earn one of our exclusive grand prizes and a little local fame along the way.

How to Win

Every vote counts—and every vote helps animals. 

Share your pet's contest page on social media, in group chats, through email or wherever your biggest fans can be found. Votes are $1 each with a minimum donation of $5 (five votes). 

The more people who vote, the better your pet's chances of becoming one of our top three winners.

First Place 

The top vote-getter gets first pick from our three exclusive prizes: 

  • A custom frozen custard flavor created in your pet's honor by Glen's Custard 

Whether they're known for their goofy good looks, epic nap schedule or larger-than-life personality, this is their chance to shine. 

Second Place 

The second-place pet will choose from the two remaining prizes. 

Third Place 

The third-place pet will receive the remaining prize and their own well-deserved moment in the spotlight.

Every pet entered in the Pet Pour-trait Contest will be featured in our online photo gallery, shared by Animal Friends and our community partners. 

Because whether they're goofy, glamorous, curious or charmingly uncoordinated, every pet deserves their time to shine.  



Rules & Regulations
This contest is open to any companion animal (dogs, cat, rabbits). They do not have to be an alumnus of Animal Friends. No wildlife or exotic animals are eligible for entry. Your pet can be from the past or present — even if they’ve passed — as long as you have a quality photo that shows off all their cuteness!

  • DISCLAIMER: Due to Pennsylvania state laws and regulations, we are not permitted  to ship or deliver alcoholic beverages. All liquor sales and transactions must comply with Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
  • Participants must be 21 years of age or older to enter the "Pet Pour-trait Contest," including both submitting a pet entry and fundraising.
  • Participants and voters from outside of Pennsylvania and the USA are welcome and eligible to join.
  • The contest opens on 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 17, 2026. The contest closes at 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, August 28, 2026. All fundraising must occur within these dates.

  • The top three winners will be announced on the contest website and Animal Friends social media channels on September 1, 2026. Winners will be contacted directly by Animal Friends beginning August 31, 2026, regarding prize selection and additional photo submissions. 

  • Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1 donated, with a minimum donation of $5 (equivalent to 5 votes).
  • Winners will be determined based by the number of votes raised by their entry. All donations must be made online and directly to your entry to be counted toward your fundraising total. Donations to the photo contest are final. To participate, you must register and create an entry on the Pet Pour-trait Contest website. 
  • If a tie occurs at any point in the contest, the tied entries will be entered into a random drawing to determine the winner. 
  • Animal Friends reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal or persons in a photo. Each entry may include only one animal per photo, and no humans are allowed in the image. All donations are non-refundable.
  • All winners must provide a selection of 3-4 photos of their pet by a specified amount of time after the contest ends. Photos must meet the image requirements outlined below. If a winner does not respond within the allotted timeframe, prize selection will pass to the next eligible winner. All winning photo selections must be submitted by September 11, 2026. 
  • By entering the contest and accepting the participation waiver, you grant permission for Animal Friends, Acclamation Brewing, Compass Point Coffee and Glen's Custard to use your pet's name, photo and submitted story in future promotional materials, publications and marketing efforts. 

Image and Name Requirements for Winners
  • Winners must own the rights to the photos they provide (photos taken by professional photographers that have not given written permission are not eligible).
  • Photos must of high quality and high resolution, feature only the winning animal (no other animals or humans) and have the animal occupy at least 2/3 of the frame.
  • Ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background.
  • No images in conflict with Animal Friends policies or procedures can be accepted, e.g. no animals can appear to be in distress. If a photo is deemed ineligible, the winning contestant will have five days to submit new photos. If a usable photo cannot be produced, the label will go to the next eligible contestant.

  • To ensure all entries align with Animal Friends’ commitment to compassionate care and positive reinforcement training, photos must reflect safe and humane practices. No animals may appear to be in distress. By submitting a photo, participants agree to follow these guidelines. Entries that do not comply may be disqualified, and the participant will have five days to submit a replacement photo.
