Rescue Rhythms: Pets of Rock Calendar Contest – Official Rules
🐾 Eligibility
- Open to pet owners in the United States.
- Pets of all kinds are welcome.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
📸 How to Enter
- Each pet may be entered one (1) time only.
- You may enter multiple pets, but each pet must be submitted as a separate entry.
- Each entry must include:
- A photo of your pet
- Pet’s name
- Owner’s contact information
🗳️ Voting
- Winners will be determined by public voting.
- Voting details and any limits will be provided on the contest page.
🏆 Winner Selection & Prizes
📅 Calendar Winners
- The top 12 pets with the highest number of votes will be featured in the 2027 Pets of Rock Calendar.
🎸 Cover Winner (Grand Prize)
- The cover star will be selected from the highest-ranking eligible local entry.
- “Local” is defined as Ellis County, TX or surrounding areas, OR the ability to travel to Waxahachie, TX at your own expense.
The cover winner will receive:
- A professional photoshoot with Nikki Stringfield
- Participation in her May 29 acoustic performance at Railport Brewing Company (Waxahachie, TX)
- Feature on the cover of the 2027 calendar
🎁 Additional Prizes
- All 12 calendar winners will receive:
- A featured month in the calendar
- A signed photo and CD from Nikki Stringfield
📅 Contest Timeline
- Entries Open: 9:00 AM (Central Time) on Tuesday, May 5, 2026
- Entries Close: 9:00 PM (Central Time) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026
- Winners Announced: May 27
📍 Important Notes
- The cover prize is limited to local participants or those able to travel.
- If the overall top vote-getter is not eligible for the cover, they will still receive a calendar feature, and the cover will be awarded to the next highest-ranking eligible local entry.
- By entering, participants grant permission for their pet’s photo to be used in promotional materials and the printed calendar.
- The Pet Coalition of Ellis County reserves the right to make final decisions regarding eligibility and placements.
