Do you think you have the cutest pet at Tavistock? So does everyone else!
We are rolling out our inaugural Pets of Tavistock Hills Photo Contest!
It’s very simple:
- Make a profile of your pet.
- Share your link with your friends and family on every social media platform and text, email
- Vote! Vote! Vote!
The pet by the end of the summer who has the most votes will be crowned the official Pet of THSC! This accolade comes with some treats and goodies, a grooming package, and will be featured in Tavistock’s posts and emails through the off season and summer 2026!
All contestants are welcome to the Pet Pool Party on September 5th at the pool (as long as they play well with others!)
The club will also donate 10% of our proceeds to the Voorhees Animal Shelter on Cooper Rd.
So you get to show off your pet, raise money for our local shelter efforts, AND raise money for your favorite swim club?! Sounds like a triple win!

PrizesFirst Prize:
- Winning Pet will be featured in social media advertisements for the 2025-2026 off season, summer season for THSC.
- Winner will receive a grooming package from Doggie Designs in Oaklyn, NJ.
- Winner will receive a gift basket of pet specific treats from local vendors (items to be decided based on type of pet winner is!)
- Winner will receive this during the Pets of THSC Pool Party on Saturday, September 6th 2025 (rain date Sunday 9/7/25)

Rules
Pet Photo Contest:
1. Pet must belong to a member of Tavistock Hills Swim Club for the 2025 Pool Season.
2. Each pet can only have one photo entered.
3. Pet must be legal in the state of NJ (i.e. no exotic animals that are not allowed to be kept as a pet in the state of NJ).
Tavistock Hills Swim Club, founded and operated since 1956, is a family-oriented swim club located in the Tavistock tract of Warwick Road, in Barrington, New Jersey. A designated 501(c)(7), Tavistock Hills prides itself on the laid-back environment as it enters its 70th summer. We pride ourselves on honoring the past, celebrating the present, and preparing for the future of our beloved club.
THSC has a long history of attracting members from birth to seniors, offering a plethora of activities and events with the goal being to allow a safe space for members to spend their summers.
THSC attracts members from many local municipalities in Camden County, NJ as well as Philadelphia County, PA. If you are looking for a fun, inclusive, carefree space- this is your club!
THSC prides itself on its beautiful grounds, gorgeous pools with a newly installed slide, gated baby pool area complete with pool, shade and playground, our 2025 Tri County Swim Association Division E Champions the Tidal Wave Swim Team and the growing and talented Tidal Wave Dive Team. Our Tidal Wave Aquatics program is open to all youth members offering learn to swim for our “Little Waves” up to our competitive teams.
